Text Diff Checker
Paste two versions of a text and see exactly which lines were added, removed or left unchanged. Useful for tracking edits between drafts.
Differences
Paste text into both boxes to compare them. Lines only in the original show as removed; lines only in the changed version show as added.
How the comparison works
The tool splits both texts into lines and runs a longest-common-subsequence diff — the same approach used by version-control systems. The result is the shortest set of additions and removals that turns the original into the changed version.
Comparison is line based, so rewording inside a line appears as one removed line plus one added line. Everything is computed locally in your browser; neither version is uploaded.
